9.00 a.m. Leave after breakfast from Thotupola Retreat.
11.30 a.m. Arrival at Kitulgala White Water rafting campsite. Our Campsite is located in Kitulgala, 90 Km from Colombo (2 1/2 hr drive) on the banks of the Kelani River of "Bridge on the River Kwai" fame.
12.30 p.m. We will offer you a fine dining experience. Your Lunch will include a typical Sri Lankan meal with the taste of local spices.
2.00 p.m. White-water-rafting excursions down the River Kelani grade 2/3 rapids (mild) and non-swimmers and children over 6 years can safely take part. The rafting course runs over 7km providing 2 hours of excitement. Transport, equipment and briefing are all part of the package.
4.30 p.m. Evening Snack & Tea at Natural Bathing place.
06.00 p.m. Once you come back to the campsite after the rafting, a delicious dinner including hearty BBQ meals will be waiting for you. The whole area will be lit up with traditional flame torches and a roaring campfire. So sit back, relax and let our experienced staff cater to your every need.Overnight stay at Standard Camps.
